Digital Citizenship is a concept which helps teachers, technology leaders and parents to understand what students/children/technology users should know to use technology appropriately. Digital Citizenship is more than just a teaching tool; it is a way to prepare students/technology users for a society full of technology. Digital citizenship is the norms of appropriate, responsible technology use.

It has many excellent resources for parents, including reviews of movies and video games, digital media exposure guidelines, and family media contracts. We have provided you with a paper copy of their blank contract, which can also be found in the attachment below.

Work with your family to create a contract that applies to all digital devices, including phones, gaming systems, and the TCS-issued Chromebook.

We strongly recommend that your contract include limiting the use of digital devices to common areas (such as the kitchen or dinner table) and the discontinuation of device use before or by 10 PM.
