Chromebook Issues

Chromebook Issues, Charging, and Loaners

When a student has a problem with a Chromebook, she/he must speak with the school technology coach or teacher leader, who are identified below.

The school technology coach will complete an intake and determine next steps. These will include referring needed repairs to the TCS Technology Department, determining responsibility, issuing a loaner if appropriate, sending a letter to parents if needed, and referring discipline concerns to school administration.

Students are expected to charge Chromebooks at home every day. However, on a busy day Chromebooks may still run low on charge. Teachers will have some equipment for charging Chromebooks in classrooms. They will provide specific directions about how and when to do that.

Your school has a plan for students to safely store devices when they are in the cafeteria for meals, at PE classes, during after school activities, and having outdoor learning experiences. Ask your teachers for details.
