Students enrolled in 3D Art are introduced to the components of art education by using mediums with volume. They will acquire knowledge of historical and cultural developments related to art and develop a base for making informed aesthetic judgments. A variety of techniques for working in each medium is covered.

Drama 1 enhances communication through acting, directing, make-up, costume, set design, media, design or production. Students build their communication skills with pantomime, improvisation, vocal work, design and formal acting.

Digital Design is an opportunity for students to incorporate their established understanding of the elements and principles of art and design into contemporary digital media. This course utilizes various apps like Adobe Photoshop and Premier to generate both video and still graphics. This course works closely with our business community partners.

In Advanced 3D Art students are coached and encouraged to master the ideas of depth and space while maintaining their knowledge of two dimensional realities. Students continue to apply the elements of art and principles of design but are met with an extensive variety of medium including but not limited to: clay, papier mache, found object, and folded (cut) paper to create new and thought provoking works of art.
In this course student learn to appreciate the world around them and the endless possibilities to re-contextualize and repurpose materials to create work.
This course completes the second requirement of a CTE Pathway.
