ABOUT US
The Arts, Media & Entertainment (AME) Academy is housed on the campus of Tulare Union High School. AME offers students a unique opportunity to engage with the community and collaborate with business partners, fostering the development of skills that directly correlate with real-world experiences through work-based learning experiences.
Structured as a comprehensive four-year program, AME integrates art courses with core academic subjects such as English, Social Science, and Science. Throughout this time, students will participate in a variety of work-based learning opportunities, including community service, job-shadowing, interview readiness workshops, guest speaker sessions, mentorship programs with industry professionals, and internships.
AME is designed to equip students with the skills necessary for success in both higher education and professional pursuits, emphasizing the transferability of acquired competencies to college endeavors or career pathways
