15 service hours (of the total 30 required) must come from this category.

In general, we discourage double-dipping. Service opportunities should be self-initiated and not required for any other organization, club, sport, etc.

What is double dipping? Counting required service hours more than once. For example, if your flag football team requires you to volunteer as a team at FMSC, it would be double dipping to count it for NHS too. If your online health course requires 10 hours of community service, it would be double dipping to log those same 10 hours for NHS.

Mirada Players

If you are great with children and enjoy music theater, Mirada Players would love to have your help! You will be assisting directors and working with 3rd-5th graders as they sing, dance, and run scenes. Skechers Hot Chocolate Run

We need volunteers who are able to help run the event. Volunteers can distribute goodie bags, pass out chocolate, run the first aid station, and more all to support the Special Olympics.
