Members of Corona's NHS Chapter must complete 30 hours of volunteer service over the course of each school year to maintain active membership.Â
The first 15 hours should be completed by mid-December of first semester and submitted for verification.
The remaining 15 hours should be completed by April of the second semester and submitted for verification.
Incomplete service hours will result in NHS membership probation.
Corona NHS members must complete service hours both on and off campus. The following requirements are in place:
15 of the required service hours must be Corona-sponsored; they must take place on campus or be a part of a formal Corona NHS project.
The remaining 15 hours may be from outside community service activities (including previous volunteer work during the summer preceding the current school year).
