This is a LabWindows CVI application that can be used to look in detail at the data that are stored in the video files. The installation package can be downloaded from the page Installation.
This is a program with a graphical user interface (from LabWindows CVI).
After the program has started (double click icon or start from start menu) click on select input. A file select panel opens. Choose the parameter input file used for the simulation to generate the video output data files. Select and click OK. The files with the optical and carrier data are then loaded (this can take a few seconds when the files are large). After opening a console IO panel stays open.
You can plot the carrier, the optical power and light phase distributions in the circuit for all the cycles that have been stored. The tick boxes at the top indicate what is plotted.
Instead of the phase the chirp can be plotted, that is the time derivative of the phase.
On the bottom left of the panel there is an input field for selecting the cycle number. One can also use the slide control.
The circuit elements plotted can be limited (e.g. to focus on just one component) using the 'view from segment' and 'to segment' input boxes on the bottom right of the panel.
With a resize of the panel, the controls also scale.
