Community Café December 2021
The Academy is hosting a community café event on Wednesday 1st of December from 3:15-4:15pm. We are welcoming members of the community to come for some refreshments, take part in some student lef activities and have a chat. Some of our students are putting on stalls with different activities and there will be performances by our GCSE dance students. This event is the first community café the Academy has hosted in the past two years, so we would love to see as many members of the community as we can! Family and friends are also welcome.

The Health Tree Foundation (HTF) is the charity that works with the North Lincs and Goole NHS Trust. This year the NHS is hosting a national event called Big Tea- the concept is much like the Macmillan coffee morning.

My Dear New Friends ( Sandhills Court Care Home)
Here are some of the wonderful letters written by TSLA students for our Dear New Friend project with Sandhills Court Care Home.
It really is exciting that our students have this opportunity to make new friendships and share our academy's GREAT values and principles through these letters.
Well done to all the students that took part!
LOVE YOUR PET WINNERS !
The Cat Protection Team have selected their 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from the challenge! Well done to everyone who participated you have all received house points.
For our winners you will receive your prize in the Academy once we are back!
Please see the messages below Lynne and the team from the Cat Protection!
1st - Purr Purr - Maria Haszczyc- Jany (7R) - the reason is because she described just how easily a cat winds itself around your finger & is the ruler in the house!
2nd - Sonny - Elvira Aibrean (9G) - the reason we chose this was because it was in real depth and clearly Sonny is a big part of the family.
3rd - Sonic - Wiktoria Pustula (7A) - the reason Sonic was placed was because There was so much knowledge about this little hamster.
Well done everyone
Will you be getting involved in TSLAS love your pet day? This is following our animal awareness assembly this week :-)
