Add extra protection to cables as they pass through holes, and/or as they run near moving sections of the arm.
Always use split-tube sheathing to protect the cabling.
Avoid pulling or installing cable over sharp edges unless protected by a conduit or protective sleeve.
Do not install the cable on horizontal surfaces where they may be stood on or hit by falling objects.
Ensure the cables are free from any 'pinch' points as the arms move or the machine rotates, and that they will not be subject to abrasion.
Ensure the cables are protected and secured at frequent intervals.
Excessive heat and exposure to some oils will cause cables to harden and crack over time. This may cause future service problems.
The cables are flexible but avoid running them where they are subjected to severe and frequent bending. Cables lose flexibility in cold environments.
Ensure proper housing for cable and sensors to be submerged under water.

The primary consideration when installing the antennas and receiver is operator safety:
You cannot weld on, or drill into, any part of the machine’s Roll Over Protection Structure (ROPS) as this could weaken its structural integrity.
If there is an emergency exit through the rear window of the cab, ensure that there is a clear exit path for the operator.
If you need to regularly remove the GNSS receivers, for example, every night, ensure that there is safe operator access to the masts.
