Overview

To complement the well established cutter suction dredge functionality in the Trimble Marine Construction (TMC) software, Trimble has a hardware kit to suit most cutter suction dredgers. The use of existing Trimble proven machine harnesses provides fast and reliable installation and easy repair or replacement. The TMC software provides the dredge operator with real-time visualization of the dredge head relative to the design and surveyed surfaces in plan, profile (2D) or 3D. The Trimble LR970 angle sensors and MPS566 GNSS modular heading receiver provides high precision real-time cutter head positions to improve productivity and reduce rework and over-dredge.
