Create Map

Maps can be printed to PDF or printers.

1. There are two ways to launch the Create Map Wizard

• Search View

  • Select one or more records and click Create Map button

• Sidebar Create Map menu

2. Once Create Map Wizard is launched, then select one or more records to publish map. If selected records do not have a shape, then it won’t allow them to move to the next step.

3. In the Summary and Print page, you can print the map for the selected features. Each map will be generated and downloaded..

Map Templates Setup

Publish maps for one or more features using a predefined template with the appropriate cartographic symbology. Each map will be centered on the map feature selected and can be saved as an image document JPG or PDF as configured.

A map template for the Web is similar to how a map template is configured in ArcGIS Pro, see Publish Map Template in ArcGIS Pro on how templates can be configured. Once configured, then the Table of Contents will list the map template for each context.

Reporting

For contexts that are configured with reporting capability, selecting record(s) will have the “Report” button appear in the menu.

Reports are configured separately and require an appropriate reporting service like SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). A typical configuration will consist of a report document published to SSRS report services and linked to the LRM Web Report button.

Clicking the report button will allow you to choose the report to run.
