Passwords for customers in our cloud are set to expire by default at 365 Days after initial creation.
We are required to keep that as our standard in order to satisfy the stringent requirements to maintain industry-leading cloud security certifications, including SOC 2 Type 2.
If you have already logged in and setup MFA (Authenticator App or SMS) then you may use the password reset page at the following URL: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/passwordreset#!/

Passwords should be mixed upper and lowercase, with special characters and numbers.
Cannot contain the First or Last Name. If that is the case the portal might allow the password to be set up during account creation and then prevent access with unexpected errors
Passwords should not be reused in our cloud.
