UNDER CONSTRUCTION! Advising

Advising will eventually become part of the faculty role for those of you in long-term appointments. Generally, faculty aren’t expected to start advising until their third year, though some of you might take on some advisees in your second year, depending on program needs.

Before taking on advisees, you’ll complete advising development covering both Transy’s academic requirements and the practical tools you’ll use as an advisor. blah blah blah

The Academic Affairs/Associate Dean’s Office will let you know about advising development and can point you toward current advising resources.
