Doctoral program research report
Doctoral program research report
Students enrolled in the doctoral program are required to submit the “Notification of Thesis Title” and a research proposal outline every academic year. The submission of the “Notification of Thesis Title” and the research proposal outline are also mentioned in the “Determination of supervisors / Submission of the Notification of Thesis Title, etc.”.
Students enrolled in the doctoral program are required to submit a report on their research by the deadline based on the research proposal outline (1) (including students who have submitted a doctoral degree thesis).
The submitted research report is published as the “Doctoral Program Research Report” every academic year.
The distribution schedule of the submission guidelines for this academic year and the deadline for the submission of research reports are stated as below.
Since instructors are often absent from the university during summer breaks, the year-end and New Year holidays, students should allow sufficient time in order to get the approval of their academic supervisors and co-supervisors.
Preparation and submission of a research report
Basic format of the research report
Write a report up to 3 A4-sized single-sided sheets including figures, tables and spaces. In principle, a research report should be written using MS Word, with a font size of 10.5pt. Charts and tables must be on a single sheet of A4 paper (black and white). A multi-column layout should not be used.
※ When writing in English, there is no limit to the number of words, but it should be written within 3, A4 single-sided sheets, including charts and spaces, etc.
Regarding further information on submission items and how to submit, confirm the “Doctoral Program Research Report Submission Guidelines,” which will be distributed in the schedule below.
※The Graduate School of Information Networking for Innovation and Design will separately give instruction details, including items required for submission.
