So much to to report about this Special Project
The Rotary Club of Towcester are pleased to support Local, National and International projects, in this case we had the opportunity to, in conjunction with the St Lawrence Church Towcester guided by Steve Challen one of our Honorary Rotarians and his team to donate £6,000 to support this worthwhile cause, enabling us to send this Ambulance to Ukraine.
Here we see our President , the Town Mayor, Rotary Assistant District Governor, Steve Challen and our MP Sarah Bool, plus members of the assisting team.
Projects like this will be impacted in 2025/26 because of a reduction of support from Local Business.
Please find a Carousel of pictures below on this. Below.
Should any local businesses need the support of the local Rotarians in exchange for donations, of which 100% gets ploughed straight into local, regional and international causes, then please do contact <secretary@towcester-rotary.org.uk>

WOW! WHAT A NIGHT! - a BIG THANK YOU goes to all who supported the Rotary Club of Towcester's Last Night of the Proms in the Brooklands Suite at #whittleburypark . The suite was packed to hear the #sponneschoolorchestra and #kidlingtonconcertbrass perform their own version of the Proms.
The audience were treated to a wide range of music and choral work culminating in the old favourites Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory.
The money raised in ticket sales is split 50/50 with the Sponne School Music dept and Rotary's local charities in Towcester and District. A bucket collection upon exiting, raised £750 for NMPAT, a charity that has a base in Towcester which teaches primary aged children how to play instruments and read music.
Again, thank you to all who supported. The 01st February 2026 has already been booked for the next Towcester Prom.

WHAT A NIGHT! The CWMBACH CHOIR gave an outstanding performance to a packed audience at St Lawrence's Church. Many old favourites and some new ones, even singing in Afrikaans, a precursor to their tour of South Africa in 2025.
The choir was supported by two local musicians from the Sponne School, James Woodman and Oliver Parks, who both demonstrated their talents on tenor horn and vocals and a shining example of the excellence in music achieved by the school.
The evening started with the National Anthem and ended with the Welsh National Anthem as a fitting tribute to the talents of this world famous Welsh male voice choir.
The Rotary Club of Towcester thanks them and looks forward to their return in 2026.

Another Fantastic Weekend for Towcester Rotary Club. 4th - 7th July. Silverstone Grand Prix
Every cloud has a Silverstone lining!
Despite a challenging weekend regarding the inconsistent weather, members and friends of The Rotary Club of Towcester have spent the past few days volunteering as heliport drivers and marshals at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone Race Circuit.
Always a bustling yet enjoyable event, this has been our Club’s main yearly fundraiser for several decades, allowing us to provide financial support to worthwhile local, national and international causes.
This year we welcomed new faces into our team, including Rotary District 1070 Governor Chris Knight.
A huge personal thanks to everyone who contributed; your efforts are always much appreciated and we could not achieve what we do without all of you.
Another win for Rotary Towcester (in addition to Sir Lewis Hamilton! )
