TIER III & SPECIAL EDUCATION INTERVENTION
An individualized reinforcement system provides consequences following particular behaviors. These consequences are to increase the likelihood of the particular behaviors to occur again in the future.
Student will complete a reinforcement assessment. This can be done by the student independently or by an adult with the student.
Once the reinforcement assessment is completed, use the reinforcement system template to create a system for the student.
The template can be adjusted based on individual need (i.e. shorten or lengthen the time to earn, how often the student is earning, etc.)
Once the system is implemented, it should be monitored and faded as the student becomes more successful.
Fading the individual reinforcement system will depend on the individual student. This could look like increasing the time in which the student earns, decreasing how many times the student earns daily, etc.
