Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) is a program that provides free behavioral health services to children and adolescents who may be struggling with mental health concerns. Once a student is referred to TCHATT by a school employee (i.e. counselor), the student is given an evidence-based assessment and treatment services that target a wide-range of emotional and behavioral health concerns.
Mental health evaluations
Short-term therapy including up to 4 appointments focused on the top problems identified by the student and/or parent/guardian
Psychiatric care and medication management
Referrals to long-term treatment providers, if necessary

The TCHATT School Portal enables you to directly enter your school referrals for the TCHATT program. Simply log in, complete the TCHATT referral form, and submit to receive immediate confirmation of delivery. The Texas Child Health Access through Telemedicine (TCHATT) Program has selected Trayt.Health, a HIPAA-compliant healthcare software company, as its data management platform. Submitting your referrals digitally via this portal allows the clinical team to quickly and efficiently view and share information to assist in supporting your students.
