Credit cards under a family member’s name are also accepted.
*Please note that the program fee and processing charge are not refundable under any circumstances.

Daily transportation costs
Meals and personal living expenses
Overseas travel insurance
Airfare and travel to/from Japan
Domestic transportation (Narita / Haneda Airport ⇄ Sendai )
Visa application fees (if applicable)

Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation.
We recommend staying near Tohoku University Kawauchi Campus or within Sendai city.
If needed, the Tohoku University International Support Center can assist you with accommodation inquiries.

📝 How to Apply for the JASSO Scholarship
Step ①: JASSO Application Student Form
Students must complete this form and submit it to the study abroad advisor or a faculty/staff member at their home university.

In-Person / Undergraduate Student Only: Qualified students may apply for a Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) scholarship of JPY 80,000.
