Move-In Qualifications

Staff members eligible to move into the housing:

1. Officers: Officers who work at the University on a regular basis.

2. Staff: Staff who are employed by Tohoku University.
   *Except for the following: Associate Employees, Part-time Employees, Limited Regular Employees, Short-term Employees, Foreign Researchers for an Indefinite Term, and Foreign Researchers.

3. Rehired employees : Employees who retired due to retirement but were rehired based on the Law Concerning Stabilization of Employment of Older Persons, etc.

4. Staff eligible for housing due to the nature of their duties.
   *If you do not know your eligibility status at the time of application, please contact the section in charge at your department.

Applicable cases for moving into the housing:

1. When it is recognized as necessary for the operation of the university's business in relation to the duties of officers and staff.

2. When it is recognized that a shortage of housing in the officers' and staff's work location may hinder the operation of the university's business.
