A Cluster of Thoughts
Pt. 1
The Nature of Life
My mind never seems to stop,
My eyes open and my heart drops.
Gentle sounds rush through the air,
The sun too blinding for a two-second stare
Grass grows from beneath my feet,
Time flies yet I stand uncomplete.
The world spins like my mind,
Lost stars in the sky, impossible to find.
An unbothered drop of thoughts only relies on
Accepting and letting go of something that is gone.
Pt. 2
Losing What Is Already Lost
Accepting and letting go of something that is gone,
Is much deeper than the reason one wakes up at dawn.
Why does one wake up every morning to do the same thing?
Over and over but what do they truly bring?
Bringing self-reliance or dependency from others?
Or dependence to them or to their lovers.
What about those alone who have no one,
Do they simply live for themselves until their time is done?
Everyone has different dreams and goals,
Do the unaccomplished dreams disappear with unaccomplished souls?
When will someone realize the cost,
Of losing what is already lost.

Where Love Lies
The darkened sense from your tone fills the room
The burning fireworks disappear in your eyes;
My heart will die while your heart will bloom.
Simple affection turns to simple lies.
I watched you leave and glanced at the clock;
The flow of tears from my face couldn't stop.
The clutter of the world went into shock;
My body froze as I felt my heart drop.
Seconds turned into minutes, hours to days;
The gold happiness of life turned to rust.
No words have the ability to portray,
A once-happy soul turns to dust.
Glancing at the past as I glance at you,
I wonder if you ever felt the same way too.
