TOPIC OF THE MEETING: Social volunteering activities for forced immigrants

It was a joint activity with teachers and students, their parents, administrative stuff, member of the local community as well as members of several NGOs. Students worked together and received assistance by the peers mentioned above in order to fulfill their tasks.

The purpose of the project teams was to assist and supervise the student, who will develop and deploy their creative skills by taking care of people in need. This aims to develop the social sensitivity of our students.

This workshop was the second of this project. Students participated in a conference, where they presented their volunteering activities. They came together with families of refugees and immigrants, document the life standards of them and their children, commune their tragedies to the people, in order to increase their social consciousness.

All students spent their time together, in joint classes of the school, while using the English language as a means of communication with the local students. The host teachers organized different activities for the students. All these have the purpose for the guest students to get to know the life of the country they were in.
