Pathways

Vocational Pathways are designed to help guide you through planning your learning to best fit with the requirements of the workforce and to help guide you towards the career of your choice.

There are six different pathways that each lead to a particular industry sector. The following links take you to information about the pathway at careers.govt.nz

• Manufacturing and technology

• Construction and infrastructure

• Social and community services

• Services industries.

Level 2 pathways award

To earn a Level 2 Vocational Pathway Award you need to achieve:

• NCEA Level 2, including all the NCEA Level 1 literacy and numeracy requirements

• 60 recommended assessment standards (including 20 sector-related standards from the same sector pathway).
