This week our children have been showcasing their talents in preparation for Tithe Farm's Got Talent. Each class has nominated an act to progress through to the final. We are all very much looking forward to seeing all of the amazing talents we have at Tithe Farm.
Today we have said goodbye to Miss Litchfield, who is moving on to support children who require mental health support across Central Bedfordshire. We will miss her very much but wish her all the best in her new career!
Year 2 had a lovely trip to the library yesterday afternoon. They found out about the summer reading challenge and explored the wide range of books which are available to borrow. I would encourage as many children as possible to take part in the challenge and look forward to hearing who manages to complete it in September.
This week, we have begun to the transition process for our Year 6 children. Houstone have been in and spoken with the children who will be attending in September. Over the coming weeks, our Year 6 children will be visiting their new settings - we hope they have a fantastic time!

We are aware that there is already an amber weather warning in place for Monday and Tuesday next. To support the children feeling cooler and less restricted, if they wish to, children may wear their PE kits to school on these days. Please note that football kits, branded sports wear and logoed t-shirts are not part of PE kit and will (if worn) result in a phone call home and a request to bring appropriate clothes to school.
PE kit:
A plain red t-shirt
black shorts, leggings or skort
Please also ensure that your children come to school with a hat, suncream applied and fresh water. We will take necessary precautions at lunchtime and breaktime to ensure children do not become overly hot.
We have changed the format of our end of year reports this year. As part of this, they will be sent out via email. Please ensure that the school has the correct email address and that your inbox has the storage to accept emails.
Please remember the last day of the summer term is Tuesday 22nd July. School will be closing at 2pm. Big Fun Club will run from 2 - 3:30pm on this day. Please ensure that you have made arrangements to collect your child on time either at 2pm or from Big Fun Club at 3:30pm. Should be late collecting you will be invoiced for a late pick up fee.
