This week we have had visits from our RWInc consultant and our School Improvement Advisor from the local authority. Both visitors commented on the calm learning environment and how engaged in learning the children were. Our RWInc advisor was very impressed with the fantastic phonics lessons our children are provided with and how well our children know their letter sounds!
Thank-you to all families who have made a donation to our foodbank collection - I know that this food will be gratefully received and distributed to those who need it most.
We hope that all of our families are able to enjoy a restful half term break and look forward to seeing all of the children back in school on Tuesday 3rd June 2025
Huge congratulations to Alice, Kuba, Peyton and Shail who made it to the Year 4 Maths Challenge Final on Wednesday! Out of the 120 teams who took part in the heats, our fabulous mathematicians made it into the top 23 teams. Our team did not win however, just like in the heats, they worked together as a team and used each other's strengths to ensure that they completed every question to the best of their ability. The team scored 170.5 out of a possible 196.
We were lucky enough to have Lego workshops this week. During their workshops the children used the ipads to follow instructions and create code for their designs.
Congratulations to Anastasia T in Jade Class who is out latest Learning Superhero!

Whole School Attendance to date: 94%
Whole School Attendance this week: 94%
It is great to see that attendance is improving! Please remember that being in school has so many benefits for your children. Regular attendance supports your children being in a routine; feeling part of a community; making strong friendships; and making progress in their learning.
Children should be aiming for at least 96% attendance over a school year. This allows them to access the majority of the learning taking place in class and make the most of the opportunities available to them.
The school is taking part in Street Tag. This is a game which converts your steps into points. As well as your steps there are virtual 'street tags' which you can collect along the way- this are worth extra. As a school we are competing against other schools in Central Bedfordshire. Currently we are in 8th position which means we have a chance of winning a prize at the end of the season!
You can play by downloading the Street Tag app and joining the Tithe Farm team. It is an excellent way to motivate your children to walk and get active!
