Welcome to my Pre-Deployment Matters!
In this section, you will find the various processes that I followed before I started my OJT journey.
After I enrolled the AB POL SC 007 (On-the-Job Training), I, together with my co-Pol Scie students along with AB English students attended our first conference, and Sir Salirick Andres as our OJT adviser oriented us the policies and objectives as well as he discussed the necessary documents and tests needed before we can be officially deployed.
He recommended us some lists of the companies that we may wish to be deployed as well as he discussed of what the former OJT students reports in the company they attended so we could have idea of what is going to happen when it is our turn.
First, I prepared my resume and filled out the other requirements to be submitted to Sir Andres such as:
Completion form
Photocopy of my school ID
My current registration form
Step 2
It is no longer needed to have a Psychological test in the school of TIP for the OJT, for the reason of not having a face to face class, so we only took the Physical exam.
I went to the RHU to take some tests for Chest X-Ray, Urinalysis and CBC PC that is needed by the clinic of TIP before giving the medical certificate to us.
It took me 1 week to give all the final results because the 1st time I ever take the urinalysis result I had an UTI and I have to repeat the lab request and I took the medicine that Dr. Baccay (TIP Doctor) gave me to cure the UTI before taking the 2nd urinalysis test. Then after giving the final result of Chest X-Ray, Urinalysis and CBC PC to Dr. Baccay and she then made an appointment to consult me through online conference and after that she gave me a medical certificate.
I attended the Online Student Development Program on February 10, 2022.
I also attended the Mock Job Interview on February 15, 2022 and I was interviewed by Miss Jessica Apo.
Step 3
After completing those requirements, when I went to the HR at The Municipal Government of Coron, Palawan I asked them if I would be able to have an on site internship and what are the requirements that are needed to submit. Because during this pandemic most of the company are not accepting interns for safety purposes. Gladly, they are accepting interns and I started to submit of what are the requirements they needed. Those are the:
Letter of Request
Endorsement Letter
3. After submitting the Letter of request and Endorsement Letter, since it is a government, they required me to submit a Personal Data Sheet and the Letter of Agreement.
4. I had an interview the next day and they accepted me and assigned me to the Regional Trial Court 163- Coron, Palawan.
5. I started my OJT on February 16, 2022.
6. During the 1st-2nd week of my OJT days, I also took care of some of the requirements needed by Sir Andres such the certificate of acceptance, the student's parent waiver and the liability and agreement waiver. During those days, it's hard to comply those requirements because some of the staffs who are going to sign the important documents are not in their offices and I have to come back the next days or some other time that they are available.
