Welcome to my Deployment Matters!
Before February 16, 2022, The Municipal Government of Coron enrolled me at the biometrics to track my time in and time out records because those records are also needed by Sir Andres and at the same time I also got my OJT ID.
When I started my OJT on February 16, 2022, the Clerk of the court Atty. Mary Ann Marigondon introduced me to Judge Arnel and some other staffs at the RTC. She discussed to me of some policies at the RTC that needed to follow. She said that at my first day, I should just observe of what they are doing. As what she have said, I just observed them the whole day. And during the 1st-2nd week of my OJT I still have requirements to comply at the Municipal Government of Coron and to Sir Andres. As I proceeded my deployment, there are times that we needed to attend some seminars and consultations that is required by the TIP Career Center while I am at OJT. Gladly, the staffs at RTC are very kind and they are welcoming. I'm glad that during my 1st day up to my last day of OJT, their treatment to me didn't changed. I cannot feel pressure and strictness from them when I needed to go outside because they are very much understanding of my situation and they know that I am an intern and I need to do the requirements that needed to be submitted.
During my OJT, I always bear in my mind of what I learned from Sir Andres and what I've learned to the Online Student Developing Program.
Every Saturday evening 8:30pm-9:30pm, we always have conference of what are the updates to our OJT and at the same time, Sir Andres taught us how to make our OJT site.
WEEK 1
In my first day of OJT, I just observed of what are the staffs doing when there is no hearing. On the 2nd and 3rd day, they made me to label the log books while listening, watching, observing the hearing. I got tired while watching the hearing because every time there are hearings, it is expected that everyone is busy.
In the 2nd week of my OJT, I just continued to label some log books, watching and observing the hearing, tabbing the files using the names and checking of notarial transmittals. It is really tiring to put some tabbing in the files because there's a lot effort to do like cutting the tabs, putting covers so it won't easily destroyed. When I'm checking the notarial transmittal, I kind of enjoyed it even if it's tiring too because I have to double check every documents before I check it and some documents have a lot of pages so it's not easy to find the document numbers.
In my 3rd week of OJT, I just check the notarial transmittals and I put tabbing in the files using the titles of the contents for the whole week. Putting the tabbing in the files using the titles of contents is not easy because you have to scanned every pages where you will put it and some files are very thick but I learned that they are putting the tabbing so the next time that they will read the cases, they can find what ever content they are looking for.
In my 4th week of OJT, I labeled some of the log books, I put tabbing in the files using the title of the contents, I segregate the files and label the files who are accused.
In my 5th week of OJT, I put tabbing in the files using the names, I segregate the return cards and I attached the return cards in the files. I also find tiring to attached the return cards in the files because you have to find the content first and check if the serial numbers are the same.
In my 6th week of OJT, I attached the return cards ion the files, I put some tabbing in the files using the names and the titles of the contents, I segregate the content of the files, I checked the notarial transmittals, I organized the transcripts and I also fix the front page covers of the files.
In my 7th week of OJT, I fixed the covers of the files, encode the the tabbing, checked the notarial transmittals, Organizing the files at the warehouse, Made a tab for files, Taking notes of "Application for probation and manifestation", tabbing the name in the files, labeling of log books, checking of files and tabbing of files using its dates.
In my 8th week of OJT, I made a Job Shadowed my supervisor for 2 days each day is 4 hours. I erased the pencil marks in the file per page, I sorted the schedule of hearing by their dates, I attached the Notice of Cancellation at the files, I checked the missing order documents in the archive and provisionally dismissed files and I listed the missing documents such as order of arraignment, pre-trial order and order of provisionally dismissed.
In my last week of OJT, I looked for the listed documents, I listed the not available cases, I photocopied some of the files, I attached the notice of cancellation, subpoena, order, notice of accused bondsmen and notice of hearing in the files and I also stamped some receipts.
I got total of 308 hours for the past 9 weeks. I started on February 16, 2022 and it ended on April 13, 2022.
