Tri-County Independent Living offers four types of internships, categorized into four main areas. The first is for high school students and younger, with programs like E3 serving as an example. Next, we provide internships for college students, whether at CR or Cal Poly Humboldt, where we collaborate with various departments and maintain our status with the Cal Poly Humboldt Career Advising Center. Additionally, we offer volunteer internships. For those pursuing a master's degree in social services, we require interns to have a mentor with at least a master’s degree to guide them through the process. For this, we partner with the Director of Field Education and the Masters Project Coordinator at Humboldt State University's Department of Social Work. Lastly, we have internship programs in collaboration with the Department of Rehabilitation and Social Services, helping individuals reenter the workforce
