Welcome to Old Newton Primary School. Nestled in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, our school is more than just a place of learning; it’s a close-knit community where every child is cherished as a unique individual. We take pride in creating an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone, and I invite you to explore all that makes our school special.
Guided by our Christian values—Inspire, Nurture, Flourish—we strive to support every pupil's journey toward success. Our rich and diverse curriculum is carefully designed to meet the needs of each child across our four classes. Despite our rural location, we offer a wealth of experiences, from exciting trips to engaging clubs, all designed to enrich your child’s learning and personal growth.
What truly sets us apart is our caring and nurturing atmosphere. Every member of our dedicated staff knows each pupil personally, fostering a supportive environment where they can thrive. Our newly completed classroom provides an inspiring environment for our eldest pupils to learn in and built with sustainability in mind. The newly developed library inspires a love of learning and reading and provides an attractive space which we are incredibly proud of.
Our pupils are not only well-behaved and confident but also actively participate in leadership roles within the school ensuring that pupils are offered a variety of opportunities to grow and develop as individuals who begin to understand that they can make a difference to others.
I am proud to be the head teacher of Old Newton Primary School and warmly invite you to visit us and experience our vibrant community firsthand. Seeing how we live out our vision of Inspire, Nurture, Flourish will give you a true sense of what we offer. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to Old Newton, where we are committed to helping every child flourish.
