‘Inspiring to Achieve and Aspiring to Excel’
Gislingham CE Primary School, part of the Tilian Partnership, are looking to appoint a caring, dedicated and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our highly regarded and successful school. As a Teaching Assistant you will support individuals in KS2, including those with SEND, work with small groups of children in KS2 and lead intervention activities under the direction of the class teachers.
The ideal candidate for this role will be engaging and enthusiastic with:
experience of working with pupils in a school setting
the ability to use own initiative in supporting the learning needs of our pupils
the ability to inspire and motivate children to ensure that they achieve their full potential
excellent interpersonal and communication skills and good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE A*- C, Grade 5 to 9) or equivalent
high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour and able to relate to pupils in a pleasant and sympathetic manner
flexibility and commitment to working as part of a team
a good sense of humour and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Primary School Sports Coach (Part Time: afternoons only)
Job Description:
Plan, deliver, monitor, and assess a coordinated programme of activities, including games, dance, gymnastics, athletics, and outdoor and adventurous activities based on the National Curriculum requirements.
Teach PE lessons to all primary school-aged children.
Work collaboratively with other adults to enhance their delivery of PE lessons.
Lead occasional CPD sessions for teaching staff. (Experience of delivering CPD is essential).
Help organise sports events in partnership with the Suffolk School Sports Partnership.
Run engaging lunchtime and after-school sports clubs where appropriate.
Promote a positive attitude towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles, ensuring all children have opportunities to participate.
Set and maintain high standards for yourself and others.
Inspire, motivate, and bring enthusiasm to every session.
Commitment to providing equal opportunities for all children, supporting them in overcoming individual barriers to learning.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the community to make a positive impact on our children and families.

Job Details:
Salary: Grade 4 Point 12 - FTE £29,093 pro rata (£15.08 per hour)
Hours: 10 hpw across 3 days (additional hours may be required)
Contract: Part-Time Fixed Term until August 31st 2026
