Students who do not complete the examined GCSE course attend a programme of religious education assemblies (inclusive of ethics and philosophy) over a two year period.
The current programme of lectures includes:
Teaching and Learning Religion (here)
Courage
Values
The Holocaust
Commiting Wrongs and Seeking Forgiveness
Moral Decision Making
What is Spirituality?
Naturally, these are of a more practical and applied nature than the examined course. They refresh and extend the material learnt in KS3 RP and also marginally overlap with aspects of their non-examined course of studies in 21st Century life. Furthermore, these assemblies overlap with themes in whole school celebrations at the Kingston Borough Church.
