There are three modules at AS: Philosophy of Religion, Ethics and Theology.
- Philosophy of Religion examines Ancient Greek and Judeo-Christian influences on philosophy and Western thought, ancient and early modern philosophy of mind and the epistemological and logical foundations of the traditional metaphysical arguments for and against the existence of God.
- The Ethics module examines classical normative moral theories and how coherently they produce ethical judgments about contemporary moral problems and dilemmas (i.e., business ethics and medical ethics).
- The Theology Module examines the theological epistemology, Augustine’s anthropology, Origen and Aquinas’s eschatology and Bonhoeffer’s argument for civil disobedience.
