Year 10

OVERVIEW

In Year 10 we start the two year Edexcel History GCSE course.

We study the GCSE units in chronological order so the course begins with the Normans, the Frenchmen (from Normandy) who conquered England in 1066.

Next, we take on a study of Crime and Punishment over time from 1000 AD to the present day. This topic includes a special unit on Jack the Ripper, the notorious serial killer who stalked the streets of Whitechapel, London in 1888.
