While out of school, we're offering 5 options you can do each day to continue learning:

READ for 1 hour, broken up into 15 minute chunks.

WRITE for 1 hour, broken up into 15 minute chunks. Choose your grade level at the top of this link; choose one or two of these each day!

PRACTICE MATH FACTS 15 minutes each day and track your progress. Try out these fun 2nd grade learning options:

• Khan Academy

• Lexia

• Starfall

• Create a "How To" video about a concept you understand

  • Use Flipgrid, Screencastify, Google Slides or other tool

PRACTICE FOR READING AND MATH: IREADY

LEARN ABOUT SOMETHING NEW! Spend at least 15 minutes learning about an interesting topic that is part of the 2nd grade social studies curriculum. Choose one or two of these each day!

IF THE WEATHER IS NICE, play outside for at least one hour! Some ideas to help get you started:

• ride bikes

• decorate the sidewalks with chalk
