A Header is at the top of every page of a document.
A Footer is at the bottom of every page of a document.
Click on the Insert tab.
Click on Header.
Scroll to see your choices.
Choose a header.
Click on “Type” to type in your header.
Click to close header to add it to your page.
Click on the Insert tab.
Click on Footer.
Scroll to see footer options.
Click on Footer.
Click on type text.
Type your footer.
Click to add footer to the page.
Click on insert tab.
Click on header or footer
Click on remove to delete

Task #1
Open the Line Spacing document from your DOC.
Add page numbers.
Save and close.
Task #2
Open your Vacation document from your DOC.
Add a header that says Picture.
Add a footer that says Microsoft Word.
Save and close.
You can number your pages in Word.
Go to the Insert tab.
Click on Page Number
Choose if you want your page numbers at the top or bottom of the page.
Scroll down to see different page numbers.
Click on the type of page number you would like.
