Editor's Note
Have you ever wondered what clouds taste like? Sorry I meant to say honey goes really well with toast. Did you know Alexander the Great was buried alive? Because I've not seen a shooting star yet. Maybe we only draw hearts on fogged glass because we know they're erasable. But yesterday I saw my friend eat fried rice with mustard sauce and someone sitting across from us sighed. I’d like to think she’s enough of a rebel.
We grow up in a world that tells us who to become. We grow up in a world that puts fences around us to control our growth. We grow up in a world that doesn't allow us to truly grow. But it's time to flip the world.
It's time we celebrate the things an inch or hundred away from the normal. It's time we celebrate the cracks because that's from where the light gets in. It's time we burn down the long hanging definition and standard of normal. Because normal is only an illusion.
I hope this newsletter helps you see the world, not for what it is but for all the things that it can be.
It’s time to normalise diversity. It’s time to normalise being ourselves. I hope this newsletter is a testament to the parts of you that don't align with how the world works.
