Editor’s Note
The Nov-Dec newsletter, A Tale as Old as Time, is an ode to our folk tales and mythologies. To the beauty of the stories that have been woven intricately and passed down from generation to generation like an unspoken ritual.
See, that’s the beauty of mythology. We don’t know if they are true, but we still can’t help being fascinated by them. We talk about Pandora's box as if we saw it open with our own eyes and fear that the entire creation might collapse if Lord Shiva opens his third eye.
Somewhere or the other, mythologies bridge the gap between philosophy and pragmatism and make us feel secure in our own comfort bubbles. Be it the utopian view of beauty in the Greek mythologies or the architecture that makes Rome the Eternal City, we can do a 360 around the globe simply through these invisible threads of myths that bind us.
The mystery behind these myths gives us all the more reason to be fascinated by them because no matter how technologically advanced we become or how many Burj Khalifas we construct, there are some aspects that history never reveals and that's what makes it so ethereal.
I hope this newsletter succeeds in making you realize that sometimes we don’t have to know everything. Sometimes we must let life take its course because, just like mythology, a little mystery never hurt nobody!
