Editor's Note
From us, an ode to you.For the first time, the Editorial Board came up with a four-month-long newsletter and it has been a tremendous joy for us to make. Apart from its unique time duration, this edition has been a very different experience for all of us. For one, it touched us deeply and spoke to the Board on a different level. This edition pays gratitude to the ones who aligned the moon and stars to make this newsletter possible and expresses our pride for them. For the other, our esteemed Principal ma’am came up with this theme for our first edition, acknowledging the need to pay attention and give gratitude to the leaders in our life. Leaders that aren’t just in our nation, in our school, or our class. But the leaders that thrive in our hearts. No matter how much we criticise ourselves, no matter how much we believe we're insignificant, I promise there is some part of all of us that is a leader. We wanted this edition to be that reassurance and acknowledgement for you.We poured our hearts into this first edition. It is succinct, colourful, and artistic, and we took a part of ourselves, our hearts, our souls, and our imagination to make this newsletter as warm and wholesome as possible. We wanted this to be like an unexpected hug when you're working late at night, and like a gentle “I’m proud of you”, in a post-it left between a textbook. Since the beginning of this theme, we intended to tell you how proud we are of the leader in you. And the little voice that we all have in our heads. The little voice that might have made you pick up a worksheet someone dropped and chase them through the corridor to give it back. The little voice that may have made you ask the didis and bhaiyas outside the washroom about their day. The little voice that may have caused you to raise your hand in class and shed light on the changes you wish to see in the world. The little voices combined with the little things you do every day make you the truest form of a leader. The leader in you. And, I could not be prouder to present to you the first newsletter edition of the session 2022-23 — “Leader in Me.”So dear readers, let this newsletter be your validation for the day. Let this newsletter thank you for existing every day. Let this newsletter tell you how proud it is of you. And let it be your motivation to continue listening to the little voice and never stop being the beautiful, colourful and amazing self you are. Let this newsletter be an ode to you.Strike a pose
