As you know, we had tremendous growth in enrollment for this school year. It's already time to start thinking about re-enrollment and new applications for next year. Applications for new families will open November 1 and will be live on our website. If you have friends, family, siblings that are looking to enroll next year - it will be very important that they apply right away to start the process of being considered for HCLA. Our re-enrollment for current families will begin January 13 and end January 24. If you are wanting to apply for your students not currently at HCLA, please fill out an application November 1. Your financial obligation at that time is $100. As a reminder: start planning/saving for registration fees that are drafted in January when you secure your child's spot during our re-enrollment process in January. We will send out information (tuition rates, fees, and instructions) as we get closer. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO OUR DEADLINES. OUR ADMISSIONS HAS BECOME VERY COMPETITIVE AND SOUGHT AFTER SO YOU WILL WANT TO BE SURE TO MEET THE DEADLINES. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING REFERRALS AND LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUED PARTNERSHIP WITH YOUR FAMILY.

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32
Dear HCLA Parents,
Our first quarter of school has flown by and it has been a joy to see our students come together as scholars, athletes, performers on stage and servant leaders as they thrive within their classroom, school community and the greater community! While quickly taking on rigourous academic assignments and studies, to competing and practicing on the fields, on the courts and on stage - they are excelling and building a foundation for the school year and beyond. I’ve been impressed by the incredible class projects, academic accomplishments and growth so far and can’t wait to see students in all grades and all levels continue to excel!
More impressive and heartwarming is to see our students step up as confident, kind and considerate servant leaders. From assigned “line leaders and door openers” in kindergarten, student “Cru- Greeters” at important events, 5th grade patrols escorting younger students to class and serving as an outstanding example to our elementary students to residing as Officers of Student Government in Middle and High School, HCLA students have countless opportunities to lead.
However, it is the small and large acts of unsolicited kindness that has impressed me the most. All around campus at both our lower and upper campus we find examples of our students showing respect, care and empathy towards others. The examples are bountiful! Last week two 7th grade students saw me in the hallway and rushed to the door to help me carry bags and books outside to my car. With no prompting, highschool students have graciously stepped up to offer help to uniform vendors as they pack up, we see our seniors lifting up their peers in prayer. This week, students are passionately brainstorming on ways to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Our students are learning that God calls us to love and “respect” one another and show all people the love of Christ through what we do and how we treat them. We are blessed to have the opportunity to watch our students become faithful disciples of God as they create positive change for our school and our world! They are Carrying the Torch and living our theme verse Romans 12:9-21!
Peace and Blessings,
Cindy Moon
