2025-2026 TUITION PAYMENTS BEGIN IN JUNE
Families will begin to receive FACTS notifications regarding payment plans for the 2025-2026 school year over the next week. If your amount doesn't reflect the Step Up Scholarship, please be sure to send us your award ID # as soon as possible to finance@thehcla.org so that we can make that correction. This is a great opportunity to confirm your amounts prior to the first tuition draft. We will be using this year's Step Up Award amounts to set up your initial payments. Once Step Up provides the updated award amounts we will adjust your tuition payment plans.
If you are requiring before care, after care, lunch bunch or lunch bunch extended please be sure to utilize 2025-2026 Childcare Registration Form. This form is also used should you have any changes throughout the school year. While tuition starts in June, aftercare payments will not begin until August. All child care changes will take affect on the 1st or 15th of the month and require a 15-day notice (using the same link) to be changed.
FACTS assesses a per family fee of $25 for families that set up a pay-in-full draft or $55 for families that set up a monthly payment plan. You will see that fee assessed through your FACTS account when your plan is set up. You will receive an email notification when this occurs.
As a reminder, families are responsible for checking that their tuition amount is accurate and assume responsibility for the full amount owed. If you have any questions or see any discrepancies please notify finance immediately at finance@thehcla.org.

PREVIOUSLY POSTED APRIL INFORMATION
OUR TEACHERS, STAFF AND ADMINISTRATORS WISH YOU A BLESSED EASTER!
As we approach the joyful celebration of Easter, we want to take a moment to reflect on the profound meaning of this season. Easter is a time of renewal, hope, and new life—a reminder of God's incredible love for us, demonstrated through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
At our school, we are blessed to not only pursue academic excellence but also to grow in faith together as a community. This Easter, may we be reminded of the power of grace, the promise of redemption, and the victory we have in Christ. Let His resurrection inspire us to live with purpose, compassion, and gratitude.
We pray that this Easter brings peace to your hearts, joy to your families, and renewed strength for the journey ahead. May we continue to support one another, uplift each other, and walk in the light of His love.

Matthew 13:31-32
“The Kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree.”
Dear HCLA Families,
As you know, this week HCLA had its NLSA (National Lutheran School Association) Accreditation visit. The “validation team” consisting of 8 school leaders representing Lutheran schools throughout the state were on both our campuses to collect data, observe, meet with teachers, students and parents and provide valuable feedback and ensure that we are offering a strong, faith-based education that aligns with our mission and values. At the conclusion of the visit the entire validation team met with our faculty and staff and provided rave reviews and feedback. We are proud to share their feedback.
MRS. BINKLEY, LOWER SCHOOL PRINCIPAL UPDATE
Spring is here and Easter is just around the corner. As we look forward to celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord we also look ahead to a busy end of year. The Lord reminds us to finish strong, so we continuously encourage our students to give their all during the last quarter.
I love this time of year as we see how each child has grown both spiritually and academically over the past many months. God is at work at HCLA and it is evident in the lives of the children who attend here. It is such an honor and a blessing to work here alongside wonderful and dedicated teachers.
DR. LUNARDI, UPPER SCHOOL PRINCIPAL UPDATE
It’s officially that time of year… The time when there seems to be a game, show, banquet, concert, fundraiser, field trip, exam or deadline just about every day, and that isn’t too far from the truth! It’s magical and stressful at the same time, and we are definitely in the middle of it at Upper Campus. It will be a sprint to the finish, inevitably with some bumps and bruises to go along with the cheers and happy tears, but we are so excited to be sprinting alongside our students and families.
To paraphrase James 14, our time here together this school year is a “wisp or a vapor that will quickly go by”. Borrowing from a country song, “We’re going to miss this, we’re going to want this back, we’re going to wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast”. Two of my own kids are seniors this year, so both the book of James and Trace Adkins are hitting me hard as I type this. Whether you’re a senior parent who is hoping time slows down or a parent who wants it to be next year right now, be sure to thank the Lord for the trials and the blessings - we can and should grow and be grateful for them all (James 1, Romans 5, 1 Peter 1).
Thank you all so much for your ongoing love and support of our students, staff, and school - we love you so much!
