What:
Students at The Hague School will engage in approximately 40 hours of work as they:
independently research a topic of choice
generate and present a formal piece of sustained academic writing containing no more than 4,000 words
participate in three reflection sessions with a supervisor
write a reflection on the research and writing process that is no more than 500 words
Why:
The extended essay process develops an understanding of the methodology most appropriate for research within a given subject and ultimately helps prepare students for success at the university level and beyond.
