The Academy Way Experience
Happy September! We are excited for another excellent year of learning! September marks the return to school, with students diligently applying themselves and expressing enthusiasm for the opportunities that lie ahead. It also marks the beginning of fall in the northern hemisphere. With the changing of seasons, we hope that the return to structure and routine after the more carefree days of summer goes smoothly for all of our families and that everyone is excited for what lies ahead.
In this special issue you will find...

Labor Day
By Drew, The Academy Virtual
We wrote an acrostic poem about Labor Day!
By: Kody and Jaxon, The Academy Virtual
It had been pouring rain all night and we didn’t sleep much at all. A hurricane hit us. The Royals flooded and we couldn't get back to town. We needed to eat because we hadn’t been shopping in a while. You need water to drink and like our iPad to watch and food. We went to store on a boat so get some food. When all of a sudden, a tree was struck by lightning and crashed only feet from us! Then the hurricane and came hit us all of a sudden. It stopped raining, and we drove to Arby’s for lunch. We had a great time!

On a Tuesday Kennedy, Iliana, Mrs. W, Liberty, Mackenzie, and Nick ate at Taco Bell, we looked out the window and saw there was crazy storm. Mackenzie put on her cowboy hat ran out there and saw a EF3. I called them out and we left, in a hurry and helped get people to safety. We ran into a storm shelter and everyone was screaming! kennedy was left behind while eating my Taco Bell, she was crying with my tacos. Finally after hours of waiting the EF3 tornado faded away, and we all got out safely.
BUT WAIT, what about Kennedy???? We drove to go get her and the tacos were just laying on top of her while she was safely sleeping, and we had to some new clothes because it's all torn up. Kennedy was traumatized and was laying in her bed for 2 days after.I was crying very very much I could have stopped crying and Mackenzie she didn't help me she started laughing at me. And everyone was listening to christmas music and all a want christmas is we all screamed !
That was the end of the EF3 TORNADO!

Our mission was to visit the most distant planet from earth. The skerg of ode the one deadly virus in the world that wiped out a viking village, why should we worry? So we RAN. After they ran a mile they met an alien named lus. After running so far, they finally found the space ship, Tarantula. Then a chicken nugget came out of the spaceship and started dancing, singing, “I’m a dancing chicken nugget!” until the skerg of ode is coming to get the people and the chicken nugget surrendered.
