In order to prevent the possibility of the spread of COVID-19 amongst students, the mode of examinations for the students would be online with the following protocol.
All the students are expected to take the exam from the safe and secure environment of his/her home, with an iPad/desktop/laptop/smartphone and internet connectivity with the required bandwidth and system configurations (uninterrupted internet speed and power supply are desirable).
Devices to be used for the examination are supposed to be fully charged in order to avoid any interruption.
It is expected that students have a Wi-Fi hotspot as a quick backup in case the internet goes down while they are writing the answers.
Students are supposed to take the examination honestly, ethically and should follow all the instructions. They will be strictly keeping the video camera turned on and audio muted all through the examination. All the students shall be sitting in a particular posture with an appropriate angle of the camera so that invigilators are able to see them writing the exam clearly. The image of the sitting position and the angle of the camera will be shared by the advisor with the students before the examination commences.
The students are not permitted to use his or her textbook, course notes, or receive help from any other outside source.
Parents are requested to monitor the children while they are writing the exam in order to give them a feel of the traditional classroom setup.
Students have to submit answer papers only once so they need to make sure that they haveĀ correctly attempted all the questions before submission.
Students have to write the answer to the question in the foolscap papers provided by the school in blue/black ink. On completion of writing all the required answers, they have to scan all the pages of answers or take images/photos of good quality, convert them into multipage pdf and have uploaded in the Google classroom.
If the students submit the copied digital answers or exact copy from a book or internet, it may adversely affect the marking to that question.
If a mass copy is found in the answers, it will be treated as per unfair means of school rules and punished accordingly.
Sharing any type of examination material with other students during the examination shall be treated as unfair means and punished accordingly as per unfair means of school rules.
Students have to submit the answer papers within 15 minutes after the exam gets over so they need to make sure that they have correctly attempted all the questions before submission. Resubmission/ late submission will not be accepted.
Evaluation of answers will be strictly based on the scanned images uploaded in the Google Classroom, hence utmost care needs to be taken while uploading the images.
Re-examination is not to be conducted for the absentees. If a student is absent on the day of the examination without informing the Advisor, he will be marked absent. If a student remains absent on account of some health issue, the parents will have to report the absence of the student through an email to the Advisor along with the attachment of the medical report of the student. On the basis of the medical report, the student will be prorated.
