What is the process if my insured Chromebook needs repair?


2.) The student will receive an email to drop off the Chromebook at the front office where they will pick up a temporary loaner device to use while the device is repaired. In this case, the loaner does not need to be returned at the end of the day.

3.) After the device is repaired, the student will receive an email about returning the temporary loaner device to the front office and to pick up the repaired device.


Please note: The temporary loaner is not covered by insurance. Insurance only covers the Chromebook that was registered through the insurance company during the enrollment period. In the event a loaner Chromebook is damaged, the parent/guardian is subject to a $200 replacement fee.


IMPORTANT: The student must return the temporary device. If it is not returned, it will be disabled until it is returned. If the device is not returned, the parent/guardian is subject to a $200 replacement fee.
