1:1 Program Overview
All Students in grades 5-12 will be issued a Chromebook to be returned upon the graduation of John W. Wynn Middle School or Tewksbury Memorial High School, or departure from the district.
This mobile device will be required in order to access digital curriculum resources.
TPS will filter content as required by Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) requirements of 2001.
Families will be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged devices.
TPS will offer optional insurance (highly recommended) to families.
Chromebooks will be distributed as follows:
Grades 5-8: Distributed by their homeroom teacher during the first week of school.
Grade 9: Distributed during Freshmen Orientation.
New students to the district: Distributed by front office staff at your child's school after the student registration process is completed.
