Karakia

Karakia is shared every day. It is non-denominational and allows us to come together and begin our day in a calm way with the intention of reminding students of our expectations – this can be spoken in Te Reo Māori and also in English so that the meaning is really understood. It reinforces our school vision, philosophy and habits.

Whakataka te hau (morning)

Whakataka te hau ki te uru,

Kia mātaratara ki tai.

E hī ake ana te atakura.

He tio, he huka, he hauhunga
