What is the true meaning of life? The same question is asked but everyone who has an answer gives a different response. My answer will change as I hit different milestones but I believe life is what you make of it and that is how you find your meaning.
My meaning of life is in a constant state of change. Many of the things I aspire to become will change, but my only permanent goal is to have no regret. The future is very malleable and I find it difficult to pinpoint what I want it to be. However, I trust that when I reflect on my life, I will be content with what I have done and who I have become.
The world is my pond and I am the fisherman. I catch the fish that keep me happy and healthy but sometimes I have the opportunity to take risks and try new fish. It is my choice which ones to keep and which ones to throw back into the pond. Without some bad fish, there would be no good fish to look for. Finding the right ones is what makes life fulfilling and worth living.
