Team Madrichim

Students in grades 7-12 who have completed b'nai mitzvah are encouraged to join our team as part of lifelong learning and mentoring. Team members work with teachers and students on Sundays and/or Wednesdays and participate in leadership development on Sundays.

Team members also further Jewish education and values by either joining the Youth Group, participating in the JT Connect education program in grades 8-12, or doing independent study with the Head Teacher.

What I enjoy most about Jewish education is the fact that I can teach younger people the values, stories and traditions that Judaism provides. Having the opportunity to be a teacher brings me joy because I have the opportunity to teach Jewish children what I once learned.

I am a student at the University of Hartford, and I am majoring in exercise science, which will lead me to my dream of being a Doctor of Physical Therapy!
