Teaching in Miami

You will be paid every two weeks. Below you will see salary figures for base pay. However, the reality is that this could be higher if you are teaching extra classes, tutoring, or have a specialized masters degree. 

Base salary: $47, 717

Base bi-weekly pay: $2, 200

Payroll schedule: The 2023 - 2024 payroll schedule has not been released yet. Please refer to the 2022 - 2023 payroll schedule as an example. Please note that first pay dates are typically late August or early September.

Teaching Schedules: These change depending on the school. However, below you can find general school schedules:

Elementary School: 8:35am - 3:05am

Middle School: 9:10am - 3:50pm

High School: 7:20am - 2:20pm
