Crisis Text Line® allows you to have access to someone during challenging times. All texts are private and secure.
Supportive
You can text Crisis Text Line® Counselors to get support around any challenge. This could be anything from feeling anxious as you arrive at school/wait for your next class to start, coping with a really bad day, feeling homesick, or thoughts of self-harm.
Responsive
Not only is Crisis Text Line responsive to you in-the-moment, but they are able to give TFA feedback on trends in challenges CMs face across our network so that we can offer more targeted programming and outreach to support CM wellness needs.
Teach For America has partnered with BetterHelp to offer 24/7 confidential counseling services at no cost to all current corps members. As a part of this partnership, you will have the opportunity to engage with a mental health counselor, 1-on-1, up to 4 times a month including unlimited messaging via desktop or BetterHelp app.
