Anjuli  Bala 

Occupational Therapist

Anjuli graduated with her master's in occupational therapy from Texas Woman’s University. Prior to working at FWISD, she has worked in a neurorehabilitation outpatient clinic and pediatric private practice for the past 6 years. Her first career was as a Special Education teacher in Washington DC and she has a Master of Arts in Teaching: Elementary Special Education. She combines all these different skill sets to ensure that she is a well-rounded therapist that can guide children and families to achieve their goals. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and DIY craft projects.

Mary Hannah

Mary Catherine Hannah is a first year teacher at Jo Kelly! After working on-campus as a teacher assistant for a year, the students “stole her heart” and inspired her to earn a teaching certificate in special education. Her background in music therapy gives her a unique perspective in planning creative and engaging lessons for her elementary classroom. In her free time, Mary Catherine enjoys spending time with her husband, Luke, and tending to her many houseplants.

Brittany  Climber

Brittany graduated with her Master's of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Woman's University - Dallas in 2018 and has worked in the school system ever since. 

 

She loves being an OT because of all the smiles she gets to see throughout her day!

Kalee Iles

Kalee grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Midwestern State University. She is working on her Masters of Kinesiology in Adapted Physical Education from Texas Women’s University.

She began her career with Fort Worth ISD in 2017 as a Program Assistant. From 2018-2022 she was a Self-Contained Elementary Teacher in Fort Worth ISD.

The 2022-2023 school year is her first year as an Adapted PE Teacher and she is so excited to be here at Jo Kelly School! She currently resides in Brock, Texas with her husband Hunter and our many animals! 

Most of what children need to learn during their Early childhood years cannot be taught. It's discovered through play. -Ruth Wilson

Maria has served for FWISD for the last eight years. She wroked at Boulevard Heights as a teacher assistant before starting at Jo Kelly School in 2022.

Kim grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. She graduated with her Associates of Applied Science in Human Services from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Kim is continuing her education and presently working on her Bachelors in Human Services from Columbia College.  


The 2022-2023 school year is her first year with the Fort Worth ISD as a Teacher Assistant at Jo Kelly School.


When I am not teaching or crafting and planning awesome things for students, I love spending time with my family, reading, traveling and exploring new places.

Emely comes to Jo Kelly School from FWISD! She graduated from Trimble Technical high school and that is when her passion in education started. 

She has been working with kids for 4 years now and she is looking forward to getting her Associates in Early Education. Emely wants to continue her education through the masters level

Lucy was born in Mexico City. She has worked with the school district for 7 years in the custodial department.

Rebecca May

Rebecca was born in Bakersfield California. She moved to Texas when she was 10 and went to Aledo ISD. 

She moved to various places over the years, but came back to Texas to be with her mom.

Rebecca has worked a wide range of jobs and likes being the Campus Monitor at Jo kelly the best.

She has a little black and white toy poodle named Maggie. "She is my baby girl."

Gabrielle Cherry

Gabrielle  served in the Air Force for six years before going to Texas Christian University. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2020. Gabrielle worked in the Trauma ICU before she started working for FWISD.

Gabrielle has been married for 10 years to her best friend in the world, Bryce. They have  2 kids; a stepson named Cage and a daughter named Sophie.
